Kilsby Neighbourhood Watch is a group of Kilsby residents who are concerned that Kilsby is a place that is as safe and as pleasant to live in as possible. I have been the co-ordinator for 6 years and during that time members have told me about suspicious events that they have noted and these incidents have been reported to the police. This information means that the police have a better idea of what is happening in our village and they are then in a better position to respond. Over the years, as a direct result of reporting by members, thefts have been solved and anti-social behaviour has been stopped. We all need to be aware that Kilsby, like everywhere else, is a target for burglars and do our best to prevent crime.
All that is asked of members is that they receive information about current crime in the vicinity from the police by email and act if they note any suspicious activity.
The more people who are aware of problems and do something about it the more pleasant Kilsby will be for all.
